The Sikh Press Association is a national news agency representing the Sikh Community in the UK & providing accurate multimedia content for mainstream media globally.

The Sikh PA will deliver a regular feed of multi-platform rich content including editorial copy, news, free images, infographics, video content, listing information and data to journalists and newsrooms around the country.

We are working with Sikh organisations, charities and media to share news, campaigns, knowledge hubs and media training raising the profile of positive Sikh based activity taking place regionally across the UK.

Jagraj Singh

Speaker & Educator

Jagraj Singh is an influential educator, speaker and YouTuber who runs Everythings 13, a Sikh educational charity. Jagraj leads one of its major projects, “Basics of Sikhi”, a YouTube channel designed to spread the wisdom of the Sikh Gurus. An Oxford graduate in PPE, Jagraj is also an ex British Army officer.

Jagraj regularly delivers talks at schools, universities, inter-faith events and Sikh Gurdwaras all over the world. All of these are filmed, edited and made available online for free.

Jagraj teaches regular classes explaining Sikh scripture in English at major Gurdwaras all over the UK.

One of the more popular classes taught by Jagraj is "The Why-Guru Course" (TWGC), a 14 week intro course into Sikh philosophy, history, scripture and musical tradition.

Basics of Sikhi content is played on all three major Sikh satellite TV stations (Sikh Channel, Sangat TV and Akaal Channel) and also create engaging leaflets and booklets to distribute to wider public, especially for Street Parchar (religious discourse).

Mandeep has over 28 years of experience in senior management roles and regulatory compliance, along with knowledge in financial and administration matters.

Mandeep has hands-on experience of building up companies. His career spans many organisations, which include Pearl, Saitama Bank, Prudential, Foreign & Colonial, Skandia and the Rothschild family office.

Currently at the Wells Fargo group as Chief Compliance Officer and Finance Officer with compliance and finance oversight responsibility over investment assets of over $6 billion.

Mandip Singh is very keen to encourage Sikh values and among Sikh professionals and young British born Sikhs working in the city. He works with and actively supports Sikh networks within city firms and activities that promote the Sikh ethos.

Mandip is currently the Chair of the United Religions Initiative (URI) UK and a trustee of the Learning Tutor. He is co-founder of the Khanda Poppy Project and organises Simran in the City events in Canary Wharf. He was also involved in the launch of the National Sikh Remembrance Foundation and has helped to start a family charity, the Sharanpal Singh Charitable Trust, as well as the Harrow Sikh Association. Mandip Singh is also a member of the recently formed Sikh Channel Advisory board advising on finance matters.

Randeep Sidhu has over five years of experience in both private business and private client tax. Having graduated with a masters in Financial Engineering, Randeep joined a leading accountancy firm where he advises entrepreneurs on personal and corporate tax issues affecting them and their businesses.

Randeep is also one of the firm‘s people network leaders, supporting and promoting diversity campaigns. He is recognised for starting the firm’s Sikh faith network, a support group promoting the faith and professional aspirations of its members.

Daljinder is a corporate affairs manager working in central government. She has previously worked for top five global PR consultancy firm Burson-Marsteller, in Technology and Telecommunications. She has also worked as a media and marketing manager for British Transport Police and as a press officer for the West Midlands Police.

Daljinder is a regular adviser to charities on publicity.
